Three zones, each with its own role
The rails, made of timber or metal profiles, are installed on the wall, with the insulation between them. Roof Optim or Roof Pro is placed over the insulation, followed by a further row of vertical battens or profiles and, finally, the façade cladding.
Roof Pro or Roof Optim
One of the two membranes is installed over the insulation between the rails. Roof Pro carries a 30-year warranty and Roof Optim a 15-year warranty, for ventilated façades.
Wolle or another insulation
Between the rails, Wolle thermal insulation fibre or another insulation, usually stone wool, may be used.
Choosing the finish
The ventilated façade can be clad with sheet metal, timber, concrete panels, fibre cement or other materials.

Frequently asked questions
What goes between the rails?
Wolle thermal insulation fibre or another insulation, usually stone wool. If Wolle is used with a 5 cm layer, this is always installed first, before the 10 cm layer. The 5 cm layer adheres very well to the porosity of the substrate and requires no anchoring at all.
How do I choose between Roof Pro and Roof Optim?
Both are installed in the same way, over the insulation. The warranty differs: 30 years for Roof Pro (service life of over 50 years) and 15 years for Roof Optim (service life of over 30 years), for ventilated façades.
What can the façade be clad with?
With sheet metal, timber, concrete panels, fibre cement or other materials for ventilated façades.
